Three Selected All-Midwest Conference

DE PERE - Three St. Norbert College softball players have been selected to the All-Midwest Conference softball team released by the conference office.

Junior pitcher Morgan Rusch, freshman utility Codi Jenshak and junior infielder Jessica DeMeuse were among the 12 players selected to the All-MWC North Division team.

Rusch, an Appleton native, was named North Division Pitcher of the Year. Rusch finished 11-9 overall with a 3.09 earned run average and .262 batting average against. Rusch started 20 games and allowed 149 hits in 145 innings pitched while walking 45 and striking out 59.

Jenshak, an Escanaba, Mich., native, hit a team-high .370 this season, recording 37 hits in 100 at bats. Jenshak posted team-highs in runs scored (28), doubles (9), home runs 5), runs batted in (26) and walks (19).

DeMeuse, a Sturgeon Bay native, was named All-MWC North Division for the second consecutive season. DeMeuse hit .279 this season with two home runs and 16 runs batted in.

St. Norbert coach JoAnn Krueger shared MWC North Division Coach of the Year honors with Carroll University's Amy Gradecki.

The Green Knights finished this season 18-17 and finished in second place at the Midwest Conference Tournament.
