St. Norbert Rolls Past Lakeland

SHEBOYGAN - St. Norbert College used three second-half goals to surge past Lakeland College, topping the Muskies 4-0 in a non-conference game at the Lakeland Soccer Field.

The Green Knights (1-1) took a 1-0 lead at halftime on Kaitlin Schmitz's redirect on a Katherine Oleniczak corner kick at the 34 minutes 11 seconds mark.

St. Norbert picked up an insurance goal at 53:27 when Danielle Harris scored her first collegiate marker at 53:27 with Shannon Jung assisting. Harris then set up Schmitz for her second goal of the game, coming moments later at 56:54. Harris closed out the scoring with her second goal of the game, with Emily Stepanek recording an assist, with a finish at 62:55.

The Green Knights outshot the Muskies 23-3, including 13-1 in the second half. Sarah Platzer made one save to register the shutout for St. Norbert.
