St. Norbert Places Sixth at Aurora Invitational

AURORA, Ill. - St. Norbert College placed sixth out of 15 teams at the Aurora University Spartan Classic at Oakhurst Forest Preserve.

The Green Knights totaled 163 points for their sixth-place finish. Host Aurora won the meet with a total of 57 points. The Spartans' T.J. Pitcock was the race winner by covering the 8-kilometer course in a time of 26 minutes 55 seconds.

Hayden Hoffmann led St. Norbert with a 12th-place finish, turning in a time of 27:37. Sam Holt was 32nd overall with a time of 28:21, followed by Jacob Wittmershaus finishing 36th with a time of 28:32.

Dan Reigh was 46th with a time of 28:55, followed by Andrew Lemay one place behind with a time of 29:02. C.J. Lewis was 92nd overall with a time of 20:57, and Tommy Zakowski was 104th with a time of 31:38.
