Green Knights Drop Pair to WIAC Foes

DE PERE - St. Norbert College lost a pair of matches to Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference opponents on its first home date of the season, falling in three sets to both No. 9-ranked UW-Stevens Point and UW-Oshkosh at Schuldes Sports Center.

The Pointers (10-2) claimed a 25-22, 25-19, 25-19 win over the Green Knights (4-10), while Oshkosh (14-0) picked up a 25-19, 25-23, 25-16 triumph.

St. Norbert hit .119 against Stevens Point, converting 32 kills against 18 errors in 118 attempts. Hannah Johnshoy finished with nine kills, while Heidi Spies added eight kills and Breanne Brocker seven. Kaitlin Delahaut had 28 assists.

Aubree Antosch led the defense with 22 digs, while Brocker added 17 digs and Delahaut 16. Stephanie Reed also had 13 digs. Heidi Spies added four blocks.

Against Oshkosh, Brocker finished with a team-high 10 kills. Anika Johnson had eight kills, and Spies added six. The Green Knights had 32 kills with 19 errors in 118 attempts for a .110 hitting percentage. Delahaut finished with 25 assists.

Delahaut had a team-high 15 digs, with Antosch adding 14. Stephanie Reed had 11 digs in addition to her 13 digs against Stevens Point.
