DE PERE - Unbeaten Carthage College held off late St. Norbert College pressure to post a 1-0 victory in a non-conference match at the Minahan Stadium Complex.

The Lady Reds, who are ranked eighth in the NSCAA Central Region poll, are 7-0 on the year. The Green Knights fell to 5-5-1.

Carthage's Kelly Baumgartner scored at the 35:33 mark of the first half off an assist from Katy Rosenbrook for the game's only score. Baumgartner lifted a high, arching shot over St. Norbert goalkeeper Mallory Ford from about 15 yards out.

St. Norbert mounted furious pressure late in the match, but could not solve Carthage goalkeeper Lindsey Bollman. Bollman made five saves to preserve the shutout and victory for the Lady Reds.

Carthage outshot St. Norbert 12-10 and had a 10-3 advantage in corner kicks.
