Green Knights Sixth at MWC Championship

ROCKFORD, Ill. - St. Norbert College placed sixth at the three-day Midwest Conference Championship held at Aldeen Golf Club.

The Green Knights shot a 400-404-414--1218 over the 54-hole event. Grinnell College won the conference title with a 370-366-368--1104. Grinnell's Hailey Speck won the individual championship with a 91-89-86--266.

Rebecca Simpson led St. Norbert with a 12th-place finish, posting a score of 95-99-95--289, just four strokes out of the Top 10. Taylor Debski was 13th with a 92-96-102--290 to finish in 13th place.

Lauren Roethlisberger finished in 20th place with a 100-94-104--298. Margaret Uselman was 30th with a score of 113-115-113--341, while Abigail Butterbrodt was 34th with a 140-124-127--391.
