DE PERE - Lisa Baeten, a freshman from New Franken, earned her third Midwest Conference Performer of the Week award after winning the Gene Davis Invitational Saturday hosted by Lawrence University at Reid Municipal Golf Course.

The victory was her second individual title of the season after she cruised through the 6,000-meter course in 23 minutes 20 seconds. Her effort also propelled the Green Knights to the team title over Lawrence by one point.

As a team, St. Norbert is ranked eighth in the latest United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association Midwest Region rankings. The ranking had no changes from last week as Washington University in St. Louis, UW-La Crosse, North Central College, the University of Chicago and Aurora University comprise the top five. Augustana College remains sixth, followed by the UW-Stevens Point in seventh. The Green Knights are ahead of the UW-Eau Claire and Wheaton College.
