Schwoerer Named Pre-Season All-American by D3hoops.com

DE PERE - St. Norbert College senior forward Andrew Schwoerer has been named an honorable mention pre-season All-America selection by D3hoops.com. D3hoops.com named four five-man teams plus a five-man honorable mention squad for a total of 25 players.

Schwoerer averaged 15.6 points per game last season, and was second on the team at 6.2 rebounds per game on his way to second-team All-Midwest Conference honors. He enters his senior season with 1,005 career point.

The Green Knights finished 2013-14 with a 25-2 overall record and a perfect 18-0 mark in MWC play, including a 23-game winning streak that spanned from Nov. 26 to March 8, when their season ended in the second round of the NCAA Division III Tournament against Illinois Wesleyan University.

St. Norbert opens the season at 7 p.m. on Nov. 15 at UW-Oshkosh.
