UW-Oshkosh Tops Green Knights

GREEN BAY - UW-Oshkosh defeated St. Norbert College 6-3 in a non-conference women's tennis dual at Western Racquet Club.

The Green Knights posted a big win at No. 1 doubles. Kelly Van Handel and Lauren Post teamed up to top the Titans' Jenna Abbott and Emily Bostwick 9-8 with a tiebreaker of 7-5. Abbott and Bostwick were 6-1 entering the match with St. Norbert. Van Handel and Post improved to 7-1 on the season with the triumph.

St. Norbert won a pair of singles matches. Lauren Post defeated Abbott 6-2, 6-3 at No. 2 singles. Post is now 8-0 at No. 2 singles action. Anna Reardon topped Alison Broerman at No. 6 singles by a score of 6-1, 7-6 (7-0).

The Green Knights fell to 4-4 while the Titans improved to 7-2.
