Krueger, Lorenz Earn D3football.com All-West Region Mention

DE PERE - St. Norbert College senior punter Kevin Krueger and senior defensive back Joe Lorenz both earned mention on the 2014 All-West Region Team as selected by D3football.com.

Krueger was a second-team all-region selection, while Lorenz was a third-team honoree. Both were first-team All-Midwest Conference North Division selections this season.

Krueger, a Seminole, Fla., native, led the Midwest Conference in gross punting average at a school-record 40.6 yards per punt. Seventeen of his 50 punts were inside the opponent's 20-yard line, and 14 were fair caught.

Lorenz, an Elk Mound native, led the Green Knights with 11 passes defensed. He had 59 tackles, 2 1/2 tackles for loss, one interception and one forced fumble.

St. Norbert finished 6-4 overall this season, its 16th consecutive winning season.
