DE PERE - Jenni Jacobsen's goal in the 84th minute proved to be the difference as St. Norbert College went on to post a 2-1 win over Beloit College in a Midwest Conference game at the Minahan Stadium Complex.

Jacobsen's goal came at 83:30. Stephanie Gatyas' pass found Jacobsen wide open near the goal. Jacobsen's strike then hit the goal post but trickled along the goal line before crossing for the score. It was Jacobsen's second goal of the season.

St. Norbert (6-5-1, 3-0 MWC) scored first when Jessica Schadrie and Gatyas teamed up on a 2-on-1 breakaway. Schadrie scored her 10th goal of the season at 10:18 after a pass from Gatyas.

Beloit (4-5, 0-3 MWC) drew even early in the second half. Molly Dickson's shot from almost along the goal line found its way into the goal for the equalizer at 54:02.

St. Norbert outshot Beloit 19-7 in the match and held a 7-3 advantage in corner kicks.

Mallory Ford made four saves in goal for the Green Knights, while Katie Schurr made seven saves for the Buccaneers.
