Hill Leads St. Norbert at North Central Opener

NAPERVILLE, Ill. - St. Norbert College senior Randy Hill placed in three events to lead the Green Knights at the North Central College Cardinal Opener.

The Green Knights finished fifth with 42.5 points. North Central won the meet with 189 points.

Hill won the triple jump with a distance of 44 feet 9 inches. He was also fourth in the long jump at 21-4 and tied for sixth in the high jump by clearing a height of 6-1 1/4.

Daniel Butler was fourth in the triple jump at 37-1. Austin Livingston placed fifth in the 800-meter run at 2:01.63. Jack Feuerstein finished seventh in the 60-meter hurdles in 8.9 seconds.

The distance medley quartet of Hayden Hoffmann, C.J. Lewis, Alexander Clemetson and Andrew Lemay was fifth in 11:19.61. The 4x400-meter relay team of Ryan Grandlic, Feuerstein, Stephen Shepard and Riley Scanlan placed eighth overall with a time of 3:36.28.

At the Gladstein Invitational at Indiana University in Bloomington, Ind., Taylor Pasterski had a pair of fifth-place showings against NCAA Division I and II competition. Pasterski turned in a time of 22.63 seconds in the 200-meter dash and was fifth in the 400-meter dash with a time of 49.93 seconds.

Dan Sisler competed in the heptathlon, finishing in eighth place with a total of 4,270 points.
