Two School Records Fall at UW-Oshkosh Indoor Invite

OSHKOSH - A pair of school records were broken by the St. Norbert College women's track and field squad at the UW-Oshkosh Titan Open at Kolf Sports Center.

Liz LeCaptain set a new school indoor mark in the 60-meter dash, while Brittany Kozlowski turned in a new standard in the 1-mile run.

LeCaptain finished second in the 60-meter dash with a time of 7.82 seconds, but broke her own school record set last season of 7.85 seconds. Kozlowski was second in the 1-mile run with a time of 5:04.84, topping the old mark of 5:09.06 set by Jenny Scherer in 2009.

St. Norbert was second as a team with 112 points. Host UW-Oshkosh won the meet with 244 points. The University of St. Francis was third with 93 points.

Samantha Morateck won the high jump with a leap of 5 feet 4 1/2 inches, while Nicole Vanderlin was second with a height of 5-2 1/2.

Erin Artz was third in the 1-mile run with a time of 5:15.26 to round out the Green Knights' top three finishes.
