Two Field Event Standards Improved at Titan Challenge

OSHKOSH - St. Norbert College had two school records in field events improved upon as the Green Knights placed second at the UW-Oshkosh Titan Challenge at Kolf Sports Center.

The Green Knights registered 151.5 points to take second behind host Oshkosh's 208 points. Carroll University was third with 98.5 points.

Evan Broyles set a school record in the weight throw with a toss of 52 feet 9 1/4 inches, which was also good enough for first place. Randy Hill also high jumped a distance of 6-6 1/4 to set a new St. Norbert indoor record, which placed third in a highly competitive event.

Taylor Pasterski won the 400-meter run with a time of 49 seconds flat, a mark which is currently third this season in NCAA Division III. Austin Livingston was fifth with a time of 49.67 seconds, which is good for 21st nationally.

Jack Feuerstein won the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 8.75 seconds, while Brad Boockmeier was second in 8.83 seconds. Feuerstein was also fourth in the 200-meter dash in 22.79 seconds, and Boockmeier was third in the shot put with a distance of 48-0 3/4.

Pasterski, Livingston, Ryan Grandlic and Tyler Lewis captured first place in the 4x400-meter relay with a time of 3:24.01.

Jacob Wittmershaus was second in the 3,000-meter run with a time of 9:22.03.

Hill added a third-place finish in the long jump with a distance of 21-4. Grandlic was third in the triple jump at 40-7, while Daniel Butler was fifth at 37-2 1/4.

Andrew Lemay was fourth in the 1-mile run with a time of 4:38.41.

Dominic DiBenedetto was fifth in the shot put at 44-10 1/4, while Brennan Beachler was fifth in 13-4 1/4.
