Five Green Knights Earn All-NCHA Accolades

DE PERE - St. Norbert College had five players earn All-Northern Collegiate Hockey Association honors for the 2014-15 season.

Senior goaltender David Jacobson, senior defenseman Marian Fiala, sophomore defenseman Blake Thompson, junior forward Michael Hill and senior forward Cullen Bradshaw were all named to the league's honor squad. Freshman defenseman Sean Campbell was named to the NCHA All-Freshman team.

Jacobson became just the second player in St. Norbert history to earn first-team All-NCHA honors four times, joining defenseman Nick Tabisz (2008-11). Jacobson, whose season ended with an injury suffered Jan. 31, owned a 12-2-1 record with .924 save percentage at 1.59 goals against average this season.

Fiala, also a 2014 All-NCHA choice, has seven goals and 15 assists this season in 22 games.

Thompson, a 2014 All-NCHA selection as well, has eight goals and eight assists this season in 24 games.

Hill earned his first All-NCHA honor this season, and has a team-high 20 goals and 13 assists for 33 points in 24 games.

Bradshaw, a 2012 NCHA honorable mention honoree, has 11 goals and 19 assists for 30 points in 26 games this season.

Campbell has two goals and seven assists for nine points in 23 games this season.

St. Norbert is 19-5-2 overall heading into its semifinal game Saturday in the NCHA Harris Cup Playoffs against Milwaukee School of Engineering.
