Grall Leads St. Norbert on All-NCHA Squad

DE PERE - St. Norbert College freshman goaltender Leigh Grall was named Northern Collegiate Hockey Association Freshman of the Year to lead the Green Knights' contingent on the NCHA All-Conference team.

Grall was also named to the All-NCHA team along with sophomore defenseman Megan Crandell. Grall, forward Reaghan Chadwick and defenseman Natasha Smith were all named to the NCHA All-Freshman team.

Grall, a Janesville native, enters this weekend's NCHA Slaats Cup Four with a 9-3-4 overall record with a 1.96 goals against average and .931 save percentage.

Crandell, a Fullerton, Calif., native, is fourth on the team in scoring with five goals and 15 assists for 20 points in 26 games.

Chadwick, a Port Coquitlam, British Columbia native, led the Green Knights' freshmen in scoring with eight goals and seven assists for 15 points in 23 games.

Smith, a Waupaca native, scored three goals and nine assists for 12 points in 25 games.

St. Norbert enters Friday's Slaats Cup Four semifinal game against Lake Forest College with a 16-6-4 overall record.
