Schwoerer Named Honorable Mention All-America by D3hoops.com

SALEM, Va. - St. Norbert College senior forward Andrew Schwoerer was named honorable mention All-America prior to the NCAA Division III national championship game by D3hoops.com.

Schwoerer, a Valders native, was the 2015 Co-Midwest Conference Player of the Year. Schwoerer averaged 16.7 points and 7.2 rebounds per game, both team highs. Schwoerer finished with 1,439 career points to stand sixth on St. Norbert's career scoring list, and the most scored by a Green Knight since 1984.

Schwoerer's honor marks the second consecutive year St. Norbert has earned an All-America nod from D3hoops.com. Brandon Gries was an honorable mention selection in 2014.

St. Norbert finished 24-2 overall and went undefeated in the Midwest Conference at 18-0. The Green Knights lost to Elmhurst College in triple overtime in the first round of the NCAA Division III Tournament.
