Fiala, Hill Named to AHCA All-American Team

MINNEAPOLIS - St. Norbert College senior defenseman Marian Fiala and junior forward Michael Hill were honored as All-Americans on the Division II-III CCM American Hockey Coaches Association All-America Team.

Fiala is a first-team All-America selection after being named to the second team last season. Hill was a second-team All-America honoree.

Fiala, a Bratislava, Slovakia, native, led St. Norbert defensemen in scoring with eight goals and 15 assists for 23 points. In 119 career games, Fiala scored 19 goals and 57 assists for 76 points. Fiala was a first-team All-Northern Collegiate Hockey Association choice as a junior and senior.

Hill, a Fort Worth, Texas, native, led the Green Knights with 20 goals and also had 13 assists for 33 points. Also a first-team All-NCHA selection this season, in two seasons with St. Norbert Hill has scored 40 goals and 27 assists for 67 points.

St. Norbert now has 29 hockey first-team AHCA All-America selections, and has had at least one first-team All-America honoree for 18 consecutive years - a Division III record.
