Green Knights Win St. Norbert Twilight

DE PERE - St. Norbert College had a successful outing at its own Twilight Meet at Schneider Stadium, claiming the women's team title.

The Green Knights totaled 56 points in the team scoring, which was scored on a 5-3-1 system. NCAA Division II Northern Michigan University was second with 50 points and Michigan Tech University, also Division II, was third with 22 points.

Clarissa Jauregui won the 400-meter dash with a time of 58.80 seconds, while Erin Artz was first in the 1,500-meter run in 4:58.81. Lisa Baeten claimed first place in the 5,000-meter run in 18:13.15, while Liz LeCaptain won the long jump with a distance of 18 feet 1 inch.

The two St. Norbert relays also took first place. The 4x100-meter relay won with a time of 50.34 seconds, while the 4x400-meter relay timed 4:10.88.

Angel Hon was second in the 200-meter dash in 26.34 seconds. LeCaptain was third in the 200 at 27.07 seconds, and was also third in the 100-meter dash in 12.67 seconds.

Sarah Parbs was second in the 1,500-meter run in 5:12.96. Taylor Miller was second in the 5,000-meter run in 18:25.22, and Taylor Wenzel was second in the 400-meter hurdles in 1:09.67. Danielle Harris finished second in the javelin throw at 92-4.

Nicole Vanderlin was second in the high jump at 5-2 1/4, while Samantha Morateck was third at 5-0 1/4.

Brittany Kozlowski was third in the 400-meter dash at 59.20 seconds, while Haley Joosten was third in the 800-meter run at 2:25.64. Teagan Wernicke was third in the 100-meter hurdles at 16.92 seconds. Ashley Berton was third in the triple jump at 34-4, and Katelyn Turner was third in the shot put at 38-2 1/4.
