St. Norbert Drills Knox

GALESBURG, Ill. - The St. Norbert College women's soccer team scored early and often in an 8-0 rout of Knox College in a Midwest Conference matchup.

Rachelle Barina scored in the game's first minute, followed by scores from Jessica Schadrie and Jenni Jacobson before the game was 10 minutes old. St. Norbert held a 3-0 lead at halftime.

The Green Knights scored five second-half goals, getting another score from Schadrie, two by Kate Kaminski and one each from Stephanie Raab and Alissa Roff. Schadrie increased her goal total to 16 on the season.

Stephanie Gatyas assisted on three goals to give her 11 assists on the season.

St. Norbert outshot Knox 38-3 and had 11 corner kicks to the Prairie Fire's three.

Mallory Ford made one save in the first half for St. Norbert, while Brittany Verheyen did not see a shot on goal in the second half. Alex Rauland made 19 saves for Knox.
