St. Norbert Sits in Second After First Day of Invitational

WRIGHTSTOWN - St. Norbert College is in second place after the first of two days of action at the St. Norbert Invitational at Royal St. Patrick's Golf Links.
Carthage College is the first-day leader after scoring 317. The Green Knights are second with a 324. Carroll University "B" is third at 325, while St. Norbert "B" is fourth with a 326 after tough scoring conditions on a blustery day. Day 2 action begins at 8:30 a.m. Sunday.
St. Norbert's Ben Socha is the current leader with a three-over 75, two strokes ahead of Carthage's Kyle Donavan's 77.
Nick Mueller, golfing for the St. Norbert "B" team is tied for third with a 78, while Tony Arnold - also on "B" - carded an 81 along with Isaiah Harmison to sit in a tie for eighth place.
Nick Roelse is tied for 15th with an 83, while Ben Bobinski, Joe Scherer and Ben Verbeten all totaled an 84.
