Green Knights Finish Second at St. Norbert Invitational

WRIGHTSTOWN - St. Norbert College finished its two-day St. Norbert Invitational in second place among nine times at the 36-hole event at Royal St. Patrick's Golf Links.

The Green Knights finished with a 324-301--625, 13 strokes behind Carthage College's 317-295--612. St. Norbert's "B" team was fifth at 326-333--659.

St. Norbert's Ben Socha finished in a tie for first place with Carthage's Kyle Donovan. Socha carded a 75-75--150, while Donovan turned in a 77-73--150.

Ben Bobinski and Aley Okray finished in a tie for sixth place. Bobinski finished with an 84-76--160, while Okray had the best second-round score in the field at 90-70--160.

Isaiah Harmison and Nick Mueller finished in a four-way tie for eighth place. Harmison finished with an 81-80--161, while Mueller - golfing for the "B" squad - totaled 78-83--161.
