St. Norbert Rolls to Lawrence Invitational Title

APPLETON - St. Norbert College completed the regular season with the team championship of the Lawrence University Invitational at Whiting Field.

The Green Knights registered 221 points, while Ripon College was second with 133 points and Lawrence was third with 130 points.

Jack Feuerstein won both hurdles events, taking the 110-meter race in 15.94 seconds and the 400-meter event in 55.91 seconds.

Colin O'Brien won the 100-meter dash with a time of 11.62 seconds. Tommy Zakowski took top honors in the 800-meter run with a time of 1:59.79.

O'Brien, Taylor Pasterski, Kevin Schlichter and Brad Boockmeier won the 4x100-meter relay in 44.06 seconds.

Andrew Jacobson won the long jump with a leap of 20 feet 9 inches. Randy Hill won the triple jump with a distance of 44-6 3/4. Brad Boockmeier won the javelin throw with a distance of 167-5.
