DE PERE - The St. Norbert College women's volleyball team kept their hold on first place in the Midwest Conference with a resounding 3-0 win over Lake Forest College at Schuldes Sports Center.

The Green Knights led from start to finish, posting set scores of 25-10, 25-13, 25-13. St. Norbert is now 22-2 overall and 6-0 in the Midwest Conference, a half-game ahead of Beloit College. Lake Forest fell to 5-16, 2-2.

St. Norbert hit .273 in the match, connecting on 27 kills in 77 attacks against six errors. Joanna Mamayek and Katie Casebolt had seven kills each, while Danielle DeGroot added six kills.

Laura Ayello had 15 of St. Norbert's 24 assists. St. Norbert had 38 digs on the night, with Kim Angst's 14 digs leading the way.

Lake Forest hit minus-.093 for the match, with 26 hitting errors in 107 attempts and 16 kills. Mandi Mulliner had five kills to lead the Foresters. Lisa Sturgill added 12 digs.
