Two to Compete in 800-Meter Run at NCAA Outdoor Championship

DE PERE - St. Norbert College will send two women to the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships later this week in Canton, N.Y. at St. Lawrence University.

Sophomores Brittany Kozlowski and Clarissa Jauregui both qualified in the 800-meter run.

Kozlowski is the No. 8 seeding in the 22-contestant field with a time of 2:10.91. Jauregui is the No. 13 seeding with a season-best mark of 2:10.99. UW-Whitewater's Amanda Brom is the top overall seeding with a time of 2:08.21.

The preliminary heats for the women's 800-meter run are set for 6:45 p.m. EDT Friday with the championship race scheduled for 2:55 p.m. EDT Saturday.
