DE PERE - St. Norbert College track and field coach Don Augustine was named NCAA Division III Men's Midwest Region Outdoor Coach of the Year by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.

Augustine led the Green Knights to their first-ever Midwest Conference championship when they claimed the league title May 8-9 in Ripon. St. Norbert posted a school-record 185 points to tip Monmouth College, the 14-time defending MWC champion.

St. Norbert sent a school-record six athletes to the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championship, which begins Thursday in Canton, N.Y. Dan Sisler and Brad Boockmeier will compete in the decathlon, while the quartet of Tyler Lewis, Austin Livingston, Taylor Pasterski and Ryan Grandlic are entered in the 4x400-meter relay.
