Kozlowski Finishes Fifth in 800-Meter Run at NCAA Championship

CANTON, N.Y. - St. Norbert College sophomore Brittany Kozlowski finished fifth in the 800-meter run at the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships at St. Lawrence University's Merrick-Pinkard Track and Field Complex.

Kozlowski, who entered the finals with the top time during Friday's preliminary heats, turned in a time of 2:10.67 to finish fifth an earn All-America honors. She was one of four repeat All-Americans from the 800-meter run at the NCAA Indoor championship this past winter, where she finished seventh for her first All-America honor.

Franklin College's Anna Murdock won the national title in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:08.14. Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Colleges' Carmen Mejia was second at 2:09.30, while Wartburg College's Taylor Moore was third at 2:09.75. University of Chicago's Michelle Dobbs placed fourth at 2:10.02.
