Day 9 (5/27/15) - Today the St. Norbert College men's basketball team traveled to the mountain of Montserrat. Montserrat has breathtaking views, and reaches a height of 4,051 feet. As a team, we also toured the Basilica of Montserrat, which has been an important pilgrimage site in Spain for many centuries. After the tour, the team had free time to shop and continue to explore the mountain.

After visiting Montserrat, we headed back to Barcelona. We had free time for the rest of the day, so everybody did whatever they wanted to do. Some players went to tour the inside of the Sagrada Família, some laid out on the beach, and some went shopping. It was a beautiful last day in Barcelona.

Day 10 (5/28/15) - Today the team started the long journey back to the United States. Most players stayed up all night because we had to leave our hotel at 2:30 a.m. We flew from Barcelona to Amsterdam to Chicago. After literally a day of traveling, the players, coaches, and family members were relieved to make it back, but saddened to have left such an amazing place.

I believe I speak for all the players and coaches when I say this trip was awesome. It was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to go to such a beautiful country and do the things we did, so I would just like to say thanks to everyone who was a part of it. Whether you sacrificed time, effort, money, or all of these things for us to go to Spain, it means so much and this trip is something we will remember for a lifetime. Thanks again.
