Green Knights Split Again at Sugar Loaf Classic

WINONA, Minn. - St. Norbert College again split two matches on at the St. Mary's University Sugar Loaf Classic at Gostomski Fieldhouse.

St. Norbert (2-2) topped Wisconsin Lutheran College in four sets by scores of 23-25, 25-19, 25-21, 29-27. The Green Knights then lost in four sets to Luther College, 25-18, 22-25, 25-20, 25-20.

The Green Knights hit .145 against Wisconsin Lutheran, getting 51 kills against 26 errors in 173 attempts. Halie Ferry posted a team-high 15 kills, while Hannah Johnshoy added 10 kills. Kaitlin Delahaut had 22 assists and Emily Kapalko added 10 assists.

The Green Knights registered 88 digs in the match, with Aubree Antosch totaling 22. Kristina Herman added 19 digs, while Ferry had 16 and Delahaut 10.

St. Norbert hit .090 against Luther, with 31 errors and 45 kills in 156 attempts. Ferry had 15 kills and Herman 13 kills to pace the Green Knights. Delahaut had 21 assists and Lauren Lehman added 14 assists.

Antosch led the back row with 27 digs. Ferry chipped in with 12 digs and Herman 11 digs.

Ferry was named to the All-Tournament Team at the conclusion of the weekend.
