RIVER FOREST, Ill. - St. Norbert College gave up three second-half goals en route to a 4-1 non-conference loss to Dominican University at West Campus Field.

The Green Knights (3-2) were tied 1-1 with the Stars (2-2) at halftime, but playing their second match in under 24 hours proved costly in the final 45 minutes.

Katie Vanden Avond put St. Norbert ahead just six minutes into the game, her 11th goal of the season and the 102nd of her career. That total is good for a tie for 14th place in NCAA Division III history. Shannon Jung assisted.

Dominican's Kelli Iovino scored in the 23rd minute, and then added goals in the 63rd and 68th minutes for a natural hat trick. Tania Paez scored in the 73rd minute for the game's final margin.

Dominican outshot St. Norbert 24-7, including 12-2 in the second half. Maddie Plinska made six saves for St. Norbert, while Vanessa Gonzalez made one for the Stars.
