MONMOUTH, Ill. - St. Norbert College put together a solid performance in a 3-1 win over Monmouth College, snapping an overall three-match losing streak in a Midwest Conference match at Peacock Athletic Park.

St. Norbert (5-5-1, 2-1 MWC) built a 2-0 lead at halftime and held control throughout the second half to post the victory.

Marco Delbecchi scored his fifth goal of the season with a marker at the 17-minute mark off a feed from Sam Lamers for a 1-0 lead. Andy Frank put home his first collegiate goal with a score at 27:09 to give the Green Knights a 2-0 edge at intermission. Tyler Kassube assisted on Frank's goal.

The Green Knights scored an insurance goal at 52:48 when Patrick Hehir netted his first goal of the season off an assist from Kassube. That score would loom large as Monmouth's Louis Badang scored at 71:36, but the Scots would get no closer than their two-goal deficit.

St. Norbert outshot Monmouth 13-5 in the match, including 8-3 in the second half. Eddie Sanchez made one save for the Green Knights, while Chase Stroud made five stops for the Scots.
