Green Knights Tie for Fifth at MSOE Invitational

LAKE GENEVA - St. Norbert College finished in a tie for fifth place out of 15 teams at the Milwaukee School of Engineering Invitational at Grand Geneva Resort.
The first day of the 36-hole tournament was played on The Highlands course, while the second day was played on The Brute. The Green Knights totaled a 319-306--625 to finish tied with Marian University and Purdue University Calumet. Edgewood College won the team title with a 294-293--587. Marian's Ryonen Faris won the individual championship with a 66-74--140.
Alex Okray led St. Norbert, finishing in a 16th-place tie with scores of 76-78--154. Ben Socha was tied for 20th place with an 81-74--155.
Eric Bagg and Joe Scherer tied with each other for 28th place, both carding scores of 81-77--158. Nick Mueller rounded out the St. Norbert quintet, finishing in a tie for 57th place with an 89-82--171.
