St. Norbert Rolls Past Lawrence

DE PERE - St. Norbert College extended its unbeaten streak to four games with a 5-0 win over Lawrence University in a Midwest Conference game at Schneider Stadium.

The Green Knights (7-5-2, 4-1-1 MWC) broke open a 1-0 game with four goals in the second half.

St. Norbert didn't score until the 42nd minute when Sean Sladky found a through ball off a Jon Gregory corner kick and finished at 41:08.

Early in the second half, Marco Delbecchi was fouled in the penalty area which led to Tyler Kassube's penalty kick at the 48:35 mark. Gregory then put St. Norbert ahead 3-0 when he had a one-timed finish off a Deshaun Dickson cross at 65:08.

Joe Fabich then scored goals at 72:23 and 88:28 to give the Green Knights their final two goals of the match.

St. Norbert outshot Lawrence 17-2 and held a 9-0 edge on corner kicks. Eddie Sanchez made one save for St. Norbert in 73 minutes of action in goal, while Sam Lisheron finished in net and did not face a shot on goal. Lawrence started Joe Krivit made four saves in 78 minutes.
