St. Norbert Splits at UW-Whitewater Tournament

WHITEWATER - St. Norbert College split its final two matches at the UW-Whitewater Dig Panici Classic at Kachel Fieldhouse.

The Green Knights (11-15) dropped a hard-fought five-set decision to St. Catherine University 28-30, 25-13, 25-15, 13-25, 15-13 before rebounding to beat Webster University in four sets 23-25, 25-17, 25-23, 25-13.

Halie Ferry led St. Norbert against St. Catherine with 13 kills, while Hanna Strohm added 10 kills against one error in 17 attempts. Hannah Johnshoy added eight kills and Justice Janke seven. Emily Kapalko had 23 assists and Strohm added 12.

Jaisah Lee finished with 19 digs and Janke totaled 15 digs. Kapalko finished with four service aces and Lauren Lehman added two.

St. Norbert hit .217 in the win over Webster, finishing with 58 kills against 22 errors in 166 attempts. Ferry led the Green Knights with 13 kills and Anika Johnson added 12 kills. Erin Lang added nine kills and Kristina Herman eight. Kaitlin Delahaut finished with 25 assists, while Lehman totaled 23 assists.

Ferry and Aubree Antosch both finished with 19 digs, while Delahaut ended with 15 digs. Herman had two service aces.
