St. Norbert Places Sixth at MWC Championship

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - St. Norbert College collected a sixth-place finish at the Midwest Conference Championship held at Noelridge Park.

The Green Knights finished totaled 142 points to finish two points behind fifth-place Cornell College. Grinnell College won the conference title with 62 points, 13 points ahead of runner-up Lawrence University. Carroll University's Jacob Sundberg won the conference championship with an 8-kilomter time of 26:29. A total of 135 runners competed.

Sasha Maro led St. Norbert with a 15th-place finish, turning in a time of 27:02. Riley Boyce placed 17th overall with a time of 27:07. Both earned All-Midwest Conference honors.

Dan Reigh finished 32nd overall with a time of 27:52, while Sam Holt was 34th with a time of 27:56. Andrew Lemay was 48th overall with a time of 28:33.

Chris Reinhold was 52nd with a time of 28:40. Jacob Wittmershaus finished 55th overall in 28:53.
