DE PERE - St. Norbert College used a pair of third-period goals to forge a 3-1 win over Lake Forest College in a Northern Collegiate Hockey Association game at Cornerstone Community Center.

The Green Knights (2-1, 2-1 NCHA) snapped a 1-1 tie when Pijus Rulevicius scored off a Lake Forest turnover in its defensive zone 3 minutes 9 seconds into the third period. St. Norbert held its one-goal lead until Roman Uchyn scored off a nice backdoor feed from Erik Cooper at the 15:38 mark of the third period to seal the win. It was Uchyn's first collegiate goal.

Lake Forest (1-2, 1-2) took an early 1-0 lead when Bron Loiselle scored just seven seconds after a power play expired. Loiselle's shot rung the crossbar and fell in.

St. Norbert found the equalizer exactly 5 minutes into the second period, when Tanner Froese hit Tyler Zepeda on a 2-on-2 breakaway, and Zepeda finished just inside the right post for the goal.

The Green Knights outshot the Foresters 38-14. Tony Kujava made 13 saves for the Green Knights, while Billy Cooper made 35 stops for the Foresters.

St. Norbert was 0-for-4 on the power play, while Lake Forest was 0-for-2.
