St. Norbert Offense Struggles at Carroll

WAUKESHA - St. Norbert College shot just 38.9 percent from the field and dropped a 71-55 decision to Carroll College in a Midwest Conference men's basketball game at Van Male Fieldhouse. St. Norbert had a four-game winning streak snapped in the loss and fell to 6-6, 2-3 in the MWC. Carroll improved to 7-3, 3-1.

The Green Knights made just 21 of 54 shots from the floor and fell behind 26-12 with 6:45 left in the first half. After trailing 32-23 at halftime, St. Norbert got to within 38-30 with 17:43 left following a Mike Dowden 3-pointer but wouldn't get closer than 11 the rest of the night.

Jake Dietz came off the bench to lead St. Norbert with nine points. Wes Ladwig and Ryan Mueller had 22 points apiece to pace Carroll.
