Green Knights Head Into Break on 11-Game Unbeaten Streak

MENDOTA HEIGHTS, Minn. - St. Norbert College will head into its month-long semester break with an 11-game unbeaten streak following a 4-1 non-conference win over University of St. Thomas at St. Thomas Ice Arena.

The Green Knights (11-1-1), ranked No. 1 in the USCHO.com and D3hockey.com polls, are 10-0-1 in their last 11 games. St. Thomas fell to 7-4-2.

St. Norbert took the early lead when Michael Hill scored a power-play goal at the 9:03 mark of the first period, the frame's only goal.

The Green Knights boosted their lead exactly 13 minutes into the second period when Riley Christensen for a 2-0 edge. The Tommies responded with their only goal of the game at 15:05 when Michael Dockry scored. Christensen would score his second goal of the game just 18 seconds later.

St. Norbert salted the game away with a Roman Uchyn empty-net goal with 36 seconds remaining, his team-high eighth goal of the season.

The Green Knights outshot St. Thomas 34-24. Tony Kujava made 23 saves for St. Norbert, while Joe Morris made 30 saves for the Tommies.

St. Norbert was 1-for-5 on the power play, while St. Thomas was 0-for-3.
