Green Knights Place Fifth at North Central

NAPERVILLE, Ill. - St. Norbert College placed fifth place at the strong North Central College Cardinal Open at the Res-Rec Center.

The Green Knights registered 37 points. North Central won the meet with 179 points.

Jack Feuerstein finished in third place in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 8.70 seconds. Feuerstein added a sixth-place showing in the 200-meter run with a time of 23.62 seconds.

The Green Knights were second in the distance medley relay with a time of 11:42.06 and were fifth in the 4x400-meter relay with a time of 3:37.76.

Evan Broyles was fourth in the weight throw with a distance of 49-3 1/2. Dominic DiBenedetto was eighth in the shot put at 43-8 1/2.

In the distance races, Jacob Wittmershaus was sixth in the 3,000-meter run with a time of 9:18.59 and Riley Boyce was eighth in the 5,000-meter run in 15:40.37.

Travis Heschke was sixth in the triple jump at 37-1 and Tyler Lemens was seventh in 36-7 1/2.
