St. Norbert Third at Rose-Hulman Early Bird Invite

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. - St. Norbert College finished in third place the Rose-Hulman Early Bird Invitational at Cook Stadium in the Green Knights' outdoor season opener.

The Green Knights totaled 127.5 points to narrowly finish in third place, just behind Baldwin Wallace University's 128 points. Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology won the team title with 258.5 points.

St. Norbert swept the top three spots in the 400-meter dash. Ryan Grandlic won the event with a time of 48.88 seconds. Jon Gregory followed in second place at 49.28 seconds and Tyler Lewis was third in 49.60 seconds. Grandlic added a third-place finish in the 200-meter dash in 22.63 seconds.

Jack Feuerstein won the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 15.98 seconds.

Andrew Lemay was third in both the 800- and 1,500-meter runs. Lemay ran 2:03.58 in the 800 and finished the 1,500 in 4:14.68. Colin O'Brien was third in the 100-meter dash in 11.30 seconds.

Jacob Wittmershaus finished third in the 3,000-meter steeplechase with a time of 9:56.21. Evan Broyles added a third-place finish in the hammer throw with a distance of 146 feet 7 inches.
