Green Knights Finish Second at Wisconsin Lutheran Invitational

MILWAUKEE - St. Norbert College finished in second place at the Wisconsin Lutheran College Invitational at Raabe Stadium.

The Green Knights finished with 125 points, 20 points behind NCAA Division II Michigan Tech University's 145 points. Wisconsin Lutheran was in third place at 86 points.

Graceanne Tarsa won the pole vault with a height of 2.93 meters. Grace Mickelson was second with a height of 2.74 meters and Lindsay Knapp was third in 2.59 meters.

Jamie Karrels was second in the 5,000-meter run with a time of 20:41.37.

Kristina Herman finished third in both the discus throw (37.24 meters) and javelin throw (28.70 meters). Herman also finished fourth in the shot put at 12.37 meters, which was good enough to set a new St. Norbert record. Emmy Larson was third in the triple jump at 10.20 meters.

Lisa Baeten finished in third place in the 800-meter run in 2:28.67, while Kaitlyn Hintz was third in the 400-meter dash in 1:06.67.

At the Benedictine University Invitational in Lisle, Ill., Liz LeCaptain won the 100-meter dash with a time of 12.61 seconds. Sam Morateck won the high jump with a height of 5 feet 3 inches.

Taylor Domro was second in the 1,500-meter run with a time of 4:41.01. Haidyn Mueller was third in the 100-meter hurdles in 15.64 seconds and fourth in the 400-meter hurdles in 1:08.47.

Peyton McCauley was sixth in the 400-meter hurdles in 1:08.94. Alyssa Price was sixth in the 3,000-meter steeplechase in 12:02.19, while Sarah Parbs was seventh in 12:19.58 and Charlotte Walsh was eighth in 12:29.72.

Angel Hon added an eight-place finish in the 100-meter dash in 13.13 seconds.
