St. Norbert Romps to Invitational Team Title

DE PERE - St. Norbert College ran away with the team title at its own invitational to win it for the fourth consecutive season, topping 10 teams at Schneider Stadium.

The Green Knights totaled a whopping 258 points to easily outdistance Carroll University's 139 points. UW-River Falls was third with 83 points.

Haidyn Mueller claimed the title in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 15.22 seconds. The Green Knights also won the 4x400-meter relay with a time of 4:02.57.

Brittany Kozlowski and Taylor Domro were first and second, respectively, in the 800-meter run with times of 2:11.43 and 2:17.08.

Gretchen Price and Alyssa Wegner took the top two spots in the 10,000-meter run. Price won with a time of 41:34.26 while Wegner was second in 42:11.51.

Alyssa Price won the 3,000-meter steeplechase with a time of 11:49.67 while Sarah Parbs was second with a time of 12:19.75.

Angel Hon was second in the 100-meter dash with a time of 12.77 seconds, and added a third-place finish in the 200-meter dash with a time of 26.36 seconds. Charlotte Walsh was second in the 1,500-meter run with a time of 5:04.79. Sarah Duff was second in the 400-meter dash with a time of 59.63 seconds.

Samantha Morateck won the high jump with a height of 5 feet 4 1/4 inches. Morateck was also second in the long jump with a distance of 16-10 3/4.

Kyra VandenHeuvel was second in the triple jump with a distance of 35-11 1/2 and placed third in the long jump at 16-5 3/4.

Graceanne Tarsa and Grace Mickelson were second and third, respectively, in the pole vault with heights of 10-1 1/2 and 9-7 3/4.

Mallory Nickerson was third in the discus with a toss of 127-0 while Erin Lang was third in the javelin with a distance of 107-8.
