Green Knights Conclude Regular Season With Road Trip

ROCK ISLAND, Ill. - St. Norbert College finished the regular season with three dual matches over two days. The Green Knights lost to Coe College 8-1 on Saturday before finishing with a 9-0 loss to Augustana College and a 5-4 setback to Luther College.

The Green Knights (14-10) picked up a doubles win against Coe. Erika Chitko and Elizabeth Manlick defeated Laura Birky and Sarah Lasecki 8-4 at No. 1 flight.

Chitko and Manlick also picked up a doubles win against Luther, beating Hailey Johnson and Lauren Welch 8-4 at No. 1.

Chitko won at No. 1 singles with a 6-3, 5-7, 13-11 win over Jackie Cychosz. Manlick beat Welch 6-0, 6-3 at No. 2, while Maggie Krummel beat Anna Pearson 3-6, 6-4, 11-9 at No. 6 singles.

St. Norbert will play Lake Forest College in the semifinals of the Midwest Conference Team Tournament Friday at Nielsen Tennis Stadium in Madison.
