Distance Medley Relay Cops Title at Drake Relays

DES MOINES, Iowa - St. Norbert College had a solid first two days at the 107th Annual Drake Relays and earned its first relay championship when it claimed the title of the women's college distance medley relay at Drake Stadium.

The Green Knights' quartet of Taylor Domro, Sarah Duff, Clarissa Jauregui and Brittany Kozlowski won the event with a time of 11 minutes 44.93 seconds. The foursome defeated the University of St. Thomas, the 2016 NCAA Division III indoor national champion, by just over six seconds (11:51.24).

Kozlowski also placed second in the unseeded university/college 800-meter run. Kozlowski turned in a time of 2:09.16 and was the only non-Division I athlete to finish in the top six. The University of South Dakota's Katie Wetzstein won with a time of 2:08.94.

Erin Artz finished with a time of 35:33.23 to finish ninth in the 10,000-meter run. Melissa Dock, running unattached, won with a time of 34:41.83.

St. Norbert's 4x100-meter relay of Sarah Duff, Kyra VandenHeuvel, Erin Lang and Angel Hon finished 28th overall with a time of 49.84 seconds.
