CHICAGO - St. Norbert College couldn't slow down the University of Chicago as the Maroons went on to post a 13-4 non-conference victory over the Green Knights at J. Kyle Anderson Field.

The Green Knights (19-14) fell behind early as Chicago scored five runs on five hits and one error in the bottom of the second inning to take a 5-0 lead.

St. Norbert answered with one run in the third inning on a Tyler Banovich single to drive in Robbie Dombrowski. The Green Knights added two more runs in the fourth inning to get within 5-3. Dombrowski stroked a two-run double to score Tyler Brown and Griffin Jack.

The Maroons countered with three runs in the fourth inning to retake a five-run lead. St. Norbert scored in the sixth inning on an RBI double by Jacob Raeder to cut the deficit to 8-4, but Chicago would scored three times in the sixth and twice in the eighth to pull away.

Brown was 2-for-3, while Banovich, Jack and Dombrowski were all 2-for-4. Sam Neville took the loss, allowing eight hits and eight runs in three innings pitched.
