Two Earn All-Midwest Conference Honors

DE PERE - St. Norbert College had one first-team selection and one second-team honoree on the 2016 All-Midwest Conference softball team.

Freshman infielder Tia Danforth was named to the first team as a utility selection, while senior catcher/infielder Emily Laufer was named to the second team as an at-large choice.

Danforth, an Oneida native, hit .333 this season for the Green Knights, scoring a team-high 20 runs. She also hit a tem-high six home runs and drove in 21 runs. Danforth finished with a .415 on-base percentage.

Laufer, a West Bend native, hit .320 this season with five home runs and a team-high 27 runs batted in. She drew a team-high 17 walks for a team-best .421.
