Green Knights Roll to Tom Barry Invitational Team Title

GREEN BAY - St. Norbert College rolled to the team championship of the 42nd Annual Tom Barry Invitational in its season opening meet at Colburn Park.

The Green Knights registered 23 points, easily beating College of St. Scholastica's 52 points and Carroll University's 98 points. St. Scholastica's Casey Hovland won the 5,000-meter race with a time of 17:51.

St. Norbert had six of the top eight places to its credit as well as eight of the top 11 finishers.

Erin Artz led St. Norbert with a second-place finish in 18:06. Lisa Baeten finished third in 18:55. Sarah Parbs finished in fifth place at 19:16, while Taylor Domro was just behind in sixth place with the same time. Abby Janton was seventh with a time of 19:17, while Graceanne Tarsa was eighth in 19:20.

The St. Norbert Alumni team finished in sixth place with 149 points. Trisha Feldhausen was the top alumnae finisher by placing 19th overall with a time of 20:10.
