WAUKESHA - St. Norbert College got a hat trick from Ben Prange to spark the Green Knights to a 4-1 win over Carroll University in a non-conference match at Schneider Stadium.

The three goals marked the first collegiate hat trick for Prange, a freshman, to move the Green Knights to 4-2 on the season.

Prange got St. Norbert on the board early when he netted an unassisted goal just 3 minutes 47 seconds into the game. He then registered his second goal coming off an assist from Anthony Masello for a goal at 18:05. Marco Delbecchi then scored with Andy Frank Assisting at the 31:17 mark for a 3-0 lead heading into halftime.

Carroll would cut into the deficit when Carson Reed scored at 52:40, but Prange salted away the win with his third marker of the game at 57:43, with Delbecchi assisting.

St. Norbert held a commanding 16-3 edge in shots and also had a 5-1 advantage in corner kicks.

Josh Koleske made one save in working the first 71 minutes in net for the Green Knights, while Sam Lisheron did not face a shot in 19 minutes of relief. Nick Drew made three saves in 41 1/2 minutes for Carroll, while Jeremy Pasterz made two stops in relief.
