St. Norbert Winning Streak Moves to Six

DE PERE -- St. Norbert College pushed its winning streak to six games with a 4-1 Midwest Conference win over Ripon College at West De Pere High School.

The Green Knights (9-2, 4-0) remained unblemished in Midwest Conference action heading into a key league contest Wednesday at Lake Forest College.

St. Norbert scored a pair of first-half goals to take control. Ben Prange scored his team-high ninth goal of the season with an unassisted marker at the 24:13 mark. Griffin Hoerchner scored moments later off an assist from Prange for his third goal of the season coming at 26:28.

The Green Knights extended their lead with a goal by Anthony Masello at 57:55 off an assist from Ian Lofdahl, while Deshaun Dickson scored at 73:20 off a helper from Drew Checolinski. St. Norbert narrowly missed its fifth consecutive shutout when Ripon's Cameron Greene scored at 82:42.

St. Norbert outshot Ripon 21-6 and held a 7-1 edge in corner kicks. Josh Koleske, Sam Lisheron and Tristan Bosch combined for one save for St. Norbert, while Brady Stockwell made six stops for the Red Hawks.
