Green Knights Fall at Cornell

MOUNT VERNON, Iowa - St. Norbert College dropped its first Midwest Conference match of the season losing in three sets to Cornell College at the Small Multi-Sport Center.

The Green Knights (6-13, 1-1 MWC) fell to the host Rams (10-6, 2-0) by scores of 25-23, 25-12, 25-15.

St. Norbert finished with a hitting percentage of .022, with 19 kills and 17 errors in 92 attempts. Anika Johnson finished with seven kills to lead the Green Knights, while Lexie Van Hiel added five. Emily Rohloff had 12 assists.

Halie Ferry had a team-high eight digs, while Rohloff and Aubree Antosch finished with seven apiece.

Cornell hit .248 (41-16-101) and had 10 service aces. Lauren Ahart had 11 kills and Katherine Devlin finished with 36 assists.
